The University HM Monteprncipe hospital, which is run by the HM Hospitales Group, was a challenge at the time for the more than 200 medical professionals and other private shareholders who decided to change the way private health care in Spain worked.

Today, experience has shown that the free initiative of these professionals and the determined backing of society are the two things that are making it possible for hospitals to change, because that change is already happening.

Room for surgery

The University HM Monteprncipe hospital started its journey with the experience of the University HM Madrid hospital and the desire to be one of the best private hospitals in Europe. This was made possible by a balanced mix of the most advanced technology, the hard work and dedication of great medical professionals who are passionate about their jobs, and an offer of quality care and good treatment for patients.

As with any private business, one of our goals is to make money. But it is not a goal in and of itself. Doctors, who are co-owners of this company along with private shareholders, have the most to gain from putting profits into technology that improves care quality, which is the basic and most important goal.

The University HM Monteprncipe hospital has a total of 183 beds, 129 of which are single beds in private rooms that are large and 49 of which are suites.

All of the rooms have a private bathroom and a bed for a family member to sleep in. They were made to be cozy places to sleep. Every room has a TV and a phone. The hospital has all the pleasures and services a patient and their family could want to make their stay as easy and pleasant as possible. The hospital is in a beautiful area and is surrounded by an oak wood. This makes staying in the hospital a calm and peaceful experience, which is sure to help the patient get better.

There are different day hospitals for every kind of patient, from children to people with cancer to people who need high-resolution treatments.
