Scroll DownWith more than 16,000 professionals , the Lille University Hospital Center is one of the largest public health establishments in Northern Europe. The Lille University Hospital is made up of 12 establishments, most of which are located on a 60-hectare campus to the south of Lille.
The various departments of the Lille University Hospital are grouped together by medical discipline in entities called activity poles . The services brought together within the same center share a common medical project and means. Each center integrates care, but also research and teaching into its activities.
The Lille University Hospital is managed by Frédéric Boiron, its General Manager . The Director General leads the policy of the establishment, he is also its legal representative. He is assisted in his missions by a management team.
The Managing Director chairs the Management Board , which advises him on the management and conduct of the institution’s policy.
The Supervisory Board is a body composed of representatives of local authorities, representatives of the medical and non-medical profession, qualified personalities and user representatives. It decides on the establishment’s strategy and exercises permanent control over its management.
Various representative and advisory bodies complete the governance of the Lille University Hospital: the Establishment Medical Committee (CME), the Rehabilitation and Medical-Technical Nursing Care Committee (CSIRMT), the Users’ Committee (CDU), the Establishment Technical Committee (CTE), the health, safety and working conditions committee (CHSCT).
