In Berlin-Kreuzberg, at Charité University Hospital, there is a center called Vivantes Am Urban Hospital. About 220 doctors and 360 other medical workers do high-quality work in 12 different areas. There are 620 beds in the hospital. It helps about 65,000 people each year. 1500 babies are born here every year.

The hospital also has the Breast Center, the Tumor Center with a specialty in “Gastrointestinal oncology,” and the Berlin Center for Cardiac Rhythm Disorders.

In 1890, the Vivantes Am Urban Hospital opened. It quickly became known as a scientific and educational medical center with a lot of promise.
